Version 30: The Decluttering

30We got a lot of feedback in the wake of version 28. One thing in particularly stood out: Current Values and the Min/Max window are too cluttered. Most of the time, nobody cares about the Latitude channel or the PDOP channel, so why show it?

Fear not: We fixed it in version 30. In both min/max and in current values, you can now select which channels you’d like to see. You can also change their order by dragging and dropping the channels around in the channel list.

We also squeezed a few other fixes into this release:

  • In version 28, we lost the ability to fix the magnet delay. In version 30, we brought it back. Just right-click on the run, and select “Fix Splits” to recover from a misconfigured lap timer.
  • The default color for the first lap is, and has always been, red. The default color for the second lap used to be blue, but people reported that blue was hard to see on the dark background, so we switched it to green.
  • We improved handling of files from the Unipro 6003. Some files didn’t import correctly even though they contained valid data. This is now fixed.
  • There were some aesthetic issues involving pinned runs and the “fix splits” functionality, which we took care of.
Press the "Select channels" button, and this window comes up. You can select and deselect channels, and reorder them by dragging them around in the list.

As always, you can get the new version from the downloads page, or simply restart your old version of Off Camber Data. For feedback, feel free to just comment on the blog, or send us an email at feedback@offcamberdata.com!
