Version 27, with Histograms

27

It’s been baking for a while, but we are finally ready with version 27! The headline feature of this release is histograms. These work for any channel, but clearly the most important one is RPM. You can have one histogram per lap, or one for the combination of all selected laps.

By the way, some people have asked for computing the histogram only during the on-power parts of the lap. We worked on that as well, but couldn’t quite get it ready in time for this release. It will almost certainly be in the next version.

The second big feature we put into this is DashWare export. You can purchase DashWare on their website, or download a trial version for free. DashWare is a competitor to RaceRender, the main feature being video production.

The last of the visible changes is that we made the lines in the graphs thinner. It’s a small change for us, and we got a lot of feedback that this would help seeing the data better, so we went ahead and did it.

Apart from these things we fixed a few crashes, some reported by you guys, and some we found ourselves.

Finally, I want to take this opportunity to welcome three new people to the OCD team: James, Lisa, and Vivienne. As they ramp up, I hope we can deliver more and better features, deliver them faster, and bring them to more devices.

As always, you can get the new version from the downloads page, or simply restart your old version of Off Camber Data. For feedback, feel free to just comment on the blog, or send us an email at feedback@offcamberdata.com!
